Dear Editor,
On behalf of the Pershing General Hospital and Nursing Home, Board of Trustees, we would like to communicate our sincere appreciation to Bobbie Bonta for the dedication she has shown to her position. Her hard work, resourcefulness, and leadership have unquestionably contributed to enhanced quality of life for our Residents.
Mrs. Bonta has accomplished so much in the last year. She was instrumental in obtaining a new van that will be used for Resident outings. She was largely responsible for the acquisition of our new ADA-compliant patio furniture. She helped organize, for the community, the annual Halloween event. In addition, as always, the time and effort she committed to the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday events for the Residents went far beyond expectations.
We commend Mrs. Bonta’s pursuit of excellence as demonstrated by her becoming certified as a Dementia Practitioner and Trainer. We are appreciative of her continued fundraising activities within the community and her leading by example with her recycling efforts. The Residents treasure people like her who make their days brighter, more interesting, and more enjoyable.
Mrs. Bonta’s outstanding effort and ceaseless dedication have had a truly positive impact on the facility and the Residents, and we would like to express to her out heartfelt gratitude.
Sincerely,
Charles M. Safford, Pershing General Hospital Trustee
