Winnemucca’s City Council will meet at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 5 at City Hall, 90 W. Fourth Street.

• National Crime Victim’s Rights Week will be declared for April 10-16.
• Denim Day is April 27.
• Child Abuse Prevention Month will be declared for all of April.
Council will consider a request for temporary closure of Baud St. from Fifth Street to the Winnemucca Rural Firehouse for opening ceremonies of the library’s Summer Reading Program. 8-2 on Friday, June 17.
Humboldt County Library is asking for city administration input on their strategic plan.
Council will consider a request to use city streets and Vesco Park for the “Color the Mucc” fun event on Sat. April 23 10-2.
Council will consider waiving golf course fees for the Rotary Club golf tournament Saturday and Sunday April 30 — May 1.
Council will consider a request to use city property near the sports complex for a public safety communication system tower site.
Council will go over proposals to provide engineering and project management for construction of the waste water treatment plant.
Public comment is allowed at the beginning, and again at the end of the city council meeting.
