The Battle Mountain High School boys soccer team picked up its first Division III North win of the season, defeating White Pine 2-1 in Ely on Saturday afternoon.
The match was tied 1-1 at halftime, and the Longhorns scored the lone goal of the second half.
Battle Mountain played in West Wendover the day before and lost 8-0 to the Wolverines.
