The Battle Mountain High School volleyball team dropped its Division III North opener on the road to West Wendover this past Friday. The Wolverines swept the Lady Longhorns 25-18, 25-11 and 25-9.
Battle Mountain hosted Wells on Tuesday and results were not available at press time. The Lady Longhorns are back on the road this weekend for a pair of matches.
Battle Mountain takes on Silver Stage on Friday at 5 p.m. and Pershing County on Saturday at 1 p.m. The Lady Longhorns are back on the road on Tuesday to play Wells in a non-conference match at 4 p.m.
