Battle Mountain High School golfers Kylee Squires and Kennedie Davis finished second and third, respectively, at the latest Division III North tournament held Wednesday, Sept. 9, at Toana Vista Golf Course in West Wendover.
Squires shot a 106 and Davis carded a 108. Lynzee Devlin had the last score for the Lady Longhorns at 144. Battle Mountain did not have enough players for a team score.
The course played tough,” said BMHS coach Paul Tremayne. “We should start to see scores improve from here on out.”
Battle Mountain played in Elko on Tuesday and scores were not avaialble at press time. The Lady Longhorns will be on their home course on Thursday, Sept. 24 at 10 a.m.
