With all of the violence against law enforcement officers that has occurred across our country this summer, I think it is timely for the residents in Pershing County to take the time to “Thank a Law Enforcement Officer” for putting their lives on the line each day as they go to work to keep our communities safe. Although we have been fortunate here in Pershing County that we have not made the national news cycle for such an incident, we are not immune from such tragedies.
Many of us take time to thank a member of the military for their service, please take time to thank a law enforcement officer for their service in making the lives of residents and visitors in Pershing County safe.
