Ten Questions: Jillian Albright

Jillian Albright is a senior at Lowry High School. She plays volleyball, basketball and track and field for the Buckaroos. Albright was a member of the 2014 Lowry girls basketball state championship team that defeated Boulder City. She is also an academic-all state athlete.



1. What are your words to live by?

A: Every day is a new day and a new opportunity to do something great.



2. What is the last song you played on your Ipod/phone?

A: Wanderlust — The Weekend



3. Little Known fact about you?

A: I am very superstitious. You will never find me under ladders or around black cats. I also have “lucky” items for events like test and games. (Hair ties, socks, nail polish, etc.)



4. Most prized possession?

A: All of my award, ribbons and certificates for both academics and sports.



5. When are you the happiest?

A: When I am surrounded by the people I love. I can be myself and the laughs never end.



6. Greatest Fear?

A: Definitely spiders — those things are out to get me, I swear.



7. Most admire about a person?

A: I think that it is so incredibly awesome when a person is genuine. They don't act or pretend to be someone they aren't and everything comes from the heart. These kinds of people are hard to find and they touch you in ways others can't.



8. Best part of Lowry?

A” My favorite part of Lowry would definitely be the athletics — but I have had some of the most amazing teachers ever as well.



9. Future Plans?

A: I have no idea, in all honesty. I am currently thinking about psychiatry, but that may change.



10. Favorite sports memory?

A: Winning state basketball my sophomore year was one of the most incredible feelings in the world, knowing we had accomplished something nobody believed we could do. It was so rewarding.
