There are many activities for seniors at the Pleasant Senior Center, 1480 Lay St. The following is the schedule for Sept. 7 — 11 :
Monday: Center closed
Tuesday: 10 a.m. Crafts, 10:30 a.m. Walmart, 11:45 a.m. lunch Bingo, 1:30 p.m. Board meeting
Wednesday: 10 a.m. Exercise, 10:30 a.m. Khoury’s
Thursday: 10 a.m. Crafts, 10:30 a.m. Ridley’s
Friday: 10 a.m. Exercise, 1 p.m. Panguingue
Lunches are served each weekday at the Pleasant Senior Center, 1480 Lay St. Lunches are open to the public. Suggested minimum donation is $3 for seniors 60 years and older; $6 charge for persons under 60 years of age. The following is the menu for Sept. 7 — 11:
Monday: Center closed
Tuesday: Hot dog, sauerkraut, chips, peaches, chocolate chip cookie
Wednesday: Pork chops, baked potato, California veggies, pears, Death by Chocolate cake
Thursday: Chicken Cordon Bleu, scalloped potatoes, Malibu veggies, mixed fruit, Jell-O
Friday: Baked cod, Cajun style, parsley potatoes, salad bar, Mandarin oranges
