Daniel Lee Elquist 42 of Las Vegas, Nev. passed away on September 12, 2015 surrounded by family and friends.
He was born in Battle Mountain, Nev. on January 30, 1973 to Jim and Jeanie Elquist. He grew up in Battle Mountain, Nev.. He graduated from Battle Mountain High School in 1991.
After high school, he attended college at University of Reno, Reno Nev. After attending college moved back to Battle Mountain, Nev. He worked for Marigold for several years located west of Battle Mountain, Nev. In 1998 moved to Las Vegas, Nev. Danny had a desire to own his own business. He owned several tanning salons Rio Tan in Las Vegas, Nev. Also had another business repairing and maintenance tanning beds for other businesses thru out Las Vegas, Nev.
Dan enjoyed working as an industrial electrician, traveling, and visiting with family and friends.
He is survived by two children Danika Crosby, and Dylan Elquist, parents, Jim and Jeanie Elquist sister Jessica Mortensen (Battle Mountain Nev.), and brothers David Elquist (Las Vegas, Nev.), Matthew Elquist (Australia), 2 nieces, 4 nephews, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service was held in Las Vegas, Nev. on September 26, 2015.
Dan has touched many lives and will be greatly missed by family and friends.
