The Battle Mountain High School boys soccer team was back on its home field this past weekend for a pair of matches. The Longhorns picked up their second league win of the year on Friday, beating Whittell 3-1. On Saturday, Battle Mountain played to a 2-2 tie against Yerington. Battle Mountain hosts West Wendover Friday for a 4 p.m. start and White Pine on Saturday at 1 p.m.
