Jack Michael Jones was born August 14, 1957 and passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by family and friends on October 16, 2015.
Jack was preceded in death by his father, Malcolm and his mother Doris, and his brothers, John and Jim.
Jack is survived by his wife of 34 years, Laurie, son, John Jones (Tiffany), son Matthew Jones (Stephanie), and daughter Becky Garza (Estavan);
sister Julia Moore (John), and his seven grandchildren.
Jack grew up in Fernley and Lovelock, NV, where he participated in Rodeo and Football for Pershing County High School and graduated in 1976.
He worked for 18 years for Coeur Rochester and for 5 years for Newmont Mining.
Jack enjoyed spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing and riding ATV’s. Jack was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend to many.
A celebration of life will take place on Friday, October 23, 2015 at 1:00 pm at St. John the Baptist Church Parish Hall in Lovelock.
