Lowry High School student-athletes receive all-state academic honors for the fall season

More than 20 Lowry High School student-athletes have received academic all-state honors for the fall sports season. The student-athletes maintain a perfect 4.0 GPA.

The group included six volleyball and six girls soccer players. Nearly half the volleyball team has a perfect GPA. That group comprised Jillian Albright, Kepa Bengochea, Sierra Thiede, Jadyn Eastman, Alyssa Kuskie and Hannah Hillyer. Members of the girls soccer team were Caitlynn Cooper, Cheyenna Wolicki, Trista Furrh, Alyssa Campbell, Shelby Garrison and Melonie Martinez.

Nico Espinola and Ariel Gonzalez of the boys soccer team earned all-state honors as well, along with Elise Rose in girls golf and Olivia Silva for cheerleading.

The Lowry cross country team had for student-athletes with all-state honors in Savannah Rorex, Joe Gildone, Christopher Kearns and Chanse McAllister.

Griffith Ellett and Salvador Perez were the football players named to the all-state academic team.
