The Winnemucca Pool League kicked off its new season last week with 12 teams. Pool Junkies won all five rounds and claimed 14 of 16 games to take the lead with 151 points. Sand Dune Diggers and Breakers each went 5-0 in round play and were 11-5 in game play. Sand Dune Diggers has 143 points and Breakers 138.
Mud Diggers is fourth with 139 points after an 11-5 win and Bar M is fifth after going 4-1 in round play with 126 points.
Hustlers is sixth with three round wins and 132 points, Hole in the Wall, Bar M Burnerz, Sand Dune Lizards, Outlaws, Cheers and Club 40 rounds out the standings.
There is a seven-way tie for first place in the individual standings. Nancy Garcia, Guillermo Gracia, Ryan Brown, Max Contreras, Brad McCrea and Elisa Villarreal each are a perfect 4-0 with 40 points.
