The Battle Mountain High School boys soccer team took on two Lake Tahoe schools last week during Homecoming. The Longhorns led North Tahoe 1-0 on Thursday, Oct. 8, but the Lakers came back for a 2-1 win. Battle Mountain was back home Saturday to face Incline and lost 10-0. Battle Mountain hosts Whittell Friday at 1 p.m. and Yerington Saturday at 1 p.m.
