Humboldt County School Board will meet Tuesday, Nov. 10 in the meeting room at the district office. There will be two meetings this month, as the second meeting in October had to be canceled for lack of a quorum.
Tuesday’s agenda includes
• Approval of warrants
• Trip request for LHS Sports Medicine Class to the University of Southern California and medical facilities in the area
• Trip request for LHS band and choir to Anaheim, California for the Heritage Festival
• Boys and Girls Club update by Ray Parks and Chad Peters
• Closed session to discuss certified, classified and administrative negotiations
• Progress Discipline Plan Acknowledgment of Submission by individual school sites
• Possible approval of the alternative rural four-day schedule and Lowry High School late start Thursday
• Possible approval of the Pershing County Tuition Agreement
• Possible approval Bullying/Cyberbullying form and data review
• Possible ratification of the 2015-2017 Humboldt County Education Association Contract Negotiations
• Possible ratification of the administrative meet and confer agreement
• Discussion - school presentation - Sonoma Heights Elementary School
• Possible approval of the FY 13 audit
• Public comment
School board meetings are held in the upstairs meeting room off the Fourth Street entrance of Winnemucca Junior High School.
