BMHS Food Drive

On Thursday, November 12 from 6-8:30 students from Battle Mountain High School will be going door-to-door to collect nonperishable food items.  If you would like to donate, but will not be home, you can leave your food items in a sack at your front door.  The BMHS Student Council organizes this annual event, but it is open to all high school students.  Last year they collected a little over 1,500 food items and they are hoping to collect more than 2,000 this year.  The food is donated to the local Family Resource Center to help families in Battle Mountain.  Don’t forget...pets get hungry, too.
