Obituary: Dennis Wayne Ambrosini
Dennis Wayne Ambrosini, a Loving Husband, Father, Grandpa, Brother, and Friend passed away on May 31, 2015, in Reno, Nevada surrounded by his family. Dennis was born May 27, 1951, in Eureka, California and at a very young age quit school and became a very skilled timber faller and heavy equipment operator while logging in Northern California to help support his family. Dennis spent most of his time logging between the Angels Camp and Mount Shasta areas.
In 1988 Dennis moved his family to Lovelock, Nevada. He started a career operating heavy equipment in open pit mining. Dennis loved to teach people how to operate heavy equipment and work on guns. Dennis was a lover of sports especially the Oakland A’s and the San Francisco 49’ers and enjoyed shooting, hunting, and fishing with just about anyone that would go with him. Dennis also loved to go on motorcycle rides with his friends and family.
Dennis is preceded in death by his wife of forty years, Joann Ambrosini, parents Ernest and Lora Ambrosini, and siblings Linda Sherman, Michael Ambrosini, and Johnny Ambrosini. Dennis is survived by his daughters Tracy May (Tony), Ernestine Carmichael (Nathan), Sandra Newman (Gary), and siblings Katlynn Combs, Carol Mattingly, Candace Miller, Bobby Ambrosini, Grandchildren Brianne, Chance, and Baylee May, Mickey and Justice Carmichael, and Natalee Newman. Please come celebrate the life of Dennis Ambrosini on Sunday, June 28th from 4 to 7pm at the strip park in Lovelock.
