John Lee Aylesworth, 75, of Eunice, NM passed away at his home on May 27, 2015. Mr. Aylesworth was born on January 12, 1940, in Muleshoe, Texas to David R. Aylesworth Sr. and Imogene Lee Smith.
Mr. John Aylesworth served for The United States Air force from 1958 to 1962. He married Bertha Alicia Rios Orona on December 09, 1991, in Andrews, Texas. He was employed by Key Energy of Hobbs, NM as a Master Mechanic.
John Aylesworth resided in Eunice for over 40 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Eagle Club, VFW, and Moose Lodge.
He is survived by his wife Bertha Alicia Rios Orona of Eunice; daughters Ludivina Aylesworth, Carmen Sanchez of Eunice; Holly Sosa of Hobbs; Coleen Toland of Winnemucca, Nevada; and Irene White of Meridian, Idaho. Mr. John Aylesworth also leaves behind two sisters Amarina Wilbanks of Ft. Worth, Tx, Beatrice Moore of Norman, Oklahoma; two brothers Smitty Aylesworth of Canyon, Texas, and Bill Aylesworth of Clovis, NM.
He is proceeded in death by both his parents, one brother David R. Aylesworth Jr. and one son Benjamin Aylesworth.
Viewing for John Aylesworth will be Friday, May 29, 2015 from 4 - 8 p.m. at Calvary Funeral Home Chapel, 1820 Ave O Eunice, NM. Services will be held Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 3p.m. at Calvary Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Jerry McArthur. Interment will be at the Eunice Cementary at 4pm.
