Dear Editor,
I would like your readers to know that Pershing General Hospital recently received outstanding constituent service from Governor Sandoval’s office.
The hospital provided care to a needy patient whose case should have been covered by Medicaid. Unfortunately, due to a paperwork error that was no fault of the hospital, payment was withheld by the state. When Governor Sandoval found out about the situation, he assigned his own chief of staff, Michael Willden, to address the problem. Mr. Willden, thankfully, was able to achieve the outcome we needed.
The speed and efficiency of Mr. Willden in resolving this matter wwere truly impressive. This outcome is to me a clear indication of the ability and spirit of the governor and his staff.
Sincerely,
Charles M. Safford
