\Winnemucca Municipal Golf Course was full of youngsters as the junior golf program kicked off its first tournament of the summer season.
Nearly 60 golfers took part in the Winnemucca Ladies Golf Club scramble. Katelyn Cassinelli, George Smith, Trevor Stannard and Hunter Mullins were the winners with a score of 5-under par 31.
There was a three-way tie for second with scores of 35. That group included Nadia Novi, Marquette Cassinelli, Rian DeLong and Tatyana Carlson.
Also shooting 35 was Pete Bengochea, Austin Rorex, John Boyle Sammy Radtke and Seamus Maloon.
The final 35 included the group of Cal Peters, Max Mavity, Luis Mendoza, Josie Ellifritz and Regan Metcalf.
The junior golfers begin with lessons in June and July and will play tournaments in to August.
