Obituary: Lyle Ray Broadway

Lyle Ray Broadway passed away on July 1, 2015 from a longtime illness with family by his side.

Lyle was born on May 12, 1950 in Winnemucca, NV to Thomas Harvey and Mary Maxine Broadway. He was the youngest of 4 brothers and lived his whole life in NV. In 1962 his family moved from Cresent Valley to Battle Mountain where he remained the rest of his life. In 1970 he married the love of his life Sheila Richardson. They had two sons Raymond and Paul both of Battle Mountain.

Lyle was a lifelong hunter and avid fisherman. His love of the outdoors was enormous. He worked as a mechanic/welder for most of his life and finished his work career driving truck. Lyle and Sheila were always remodeling their home and developing their acreage at hilltop. Always lending a hand and advice to anyone who needed it. His generosity throughout the years was felt by many.

Lyle is survived by his wife Sheila of 45 yrs, sons Raymond (Brandi) and Paul (Michelle), brother Thomas (Wanda) all of Battle Mountain. He also has 9 grandchildren, Tearza, Raymond Jr., Dallas, Kora, Samantha, Riane, Rayden, Raythen, and Paul Jr. Along with twin great-grandchildren Aubriee and Bryson, and several neice and nephews. He will be missed by many.

Lyle is proceed in death by his father Thomas Harvey, mother Mary Maxine and brothers Dennis and Dale.
