Industry in Rural Nevada consists of Mining, Ranching and Farming — with a tad of gaming thrown in together with the hunters during hunting season. Las Vegas and Reno enjoy most of the Gaming and Tourist Industry. All these things bring revenue to our town, City and County Governments — that keeps the services up and running. The Taxpayer dollars should be involved in saving our only and important industries. We have a good mix of folks serving on our County Commission — they represent us fairly and so far I respect the good decisions. To criticize them is not warranted, nor accurate in my view.
I was going to say more, but John C. Carpenter said it much better than I can in the December 18-21 issue of the Humboldt Sun.
