Obituary: Linda Loveridge

Linda Loveridge, a long-time resident of Winnemucca, died Thursday the 10th of December at 9:00 pm. She passed away at the Renown Medical Center in Reno, Nevada.

Born on March 29, 1945 in Olympia Washington. Linda was the oldest daughter of Harmon and Wilma Groesbeck. She Married Dale Loveridge in 1967 and raised her family in Bennion, Utah (Now, Taylorsville). In 1983, the family relocated to Winnemucca. Which was where she lived up until her passing.

Linda graduated from Salt Lake Community college in 1979 and received a Nursing Degree. She was very compassionate and good hearted. She loved animals. We believe she secretly wanted to be a farmer. Besides common dogs and cats, she raised ducks, chickens, llamas, sheep, cattle and that really annoying goat.

We will miss our grandma, mom and wife. Though we have great hope in the restored gospel of Jesus Christ, that families are forever. So this moment of sadness will soon be replaced with joy when we are reunited in the future.

She is survived by her Husband Ralph Dale Loveridge. Karl (Son) and Janna Loveridge and their three children. Steve (son) and Candy Loveridge and their five children. Jeff (son) and Tricia Loveridge and their five children. Jazmin ( Daughter) and Cory Rogers and their two children. And Jaime Loveridge (Son).

There will be a Memorial service held December 15th at 11:00 AM at the LDS Stake Center located at 111 W MacArthur st Winnemucca, NV 89445. There will be a small luncheon after. Her Funeral services will be held December 18th 11:00 am at the Butterfield 5th Ward LDS Chapel 6986 W McCuiston Ave, Herriman UT 84096. A viewing will be held on hour prior to services.
