Donald Dufurrena, 80 of Humboldt County, Nv. residing in Gainesville, Tx. past away October 3, 2015.
He was born November 6, 1934 in Winnemmucca Nv. to the late Thomas and Nieves Dufurrena of Kings River Nv.
Don graduated from Humboldt County High, then spent 2 years in the US Army stationed in Hawaii. He then come back to Nevada having a career in ranching.
He retired from the TCID water district then spent his time between helping local ranchers and visiting grandchildren in Texas.
He had a passion for horses and enjoying time with friends and grandchildren.
Don is survived by son Ed, of Gainesville, Tx. and grandchildren Rieta and Brandon, as well as brothers David, James, John and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 pm December 19, 2015 at the Say When In McDermitt, Nevada.
