There are many activities for seniors at the Pleasant Senior Center, 1480 Lay St. The following is the schedule for Dec. 14 — Dec. 18 :
Monday: 10 a.m Exercise, 1 p.m. Pinochle, Zion Preschool PM Class 12:30 p.m.
Tuesday: 10 a.m. Crafts, 10:30 a.m. Walmart, 11:45 a.m. Lunch Bingo
Wednesday: 10 a.m. Exercise, 10:30 a.m. Khourys
Thursday: 10 a.m. Crafts, 10:30 a.m. Ridleys, Lowry Swing Choir, Christmas Dinner
Friday: 10 a.m. Exercise, 1 p.m. Panguingue
Lunches are served each weekday at the Pleasant Senior Center, 1480 Lay St. Lunches are open to the public. Suggested minimum donation is $3 for seniors 60 years and older; $6 charge for persons under 60 years of age. The following is the menu for Dec. 14 – Dec. 18 :
Monday: Beef tacos, salad bar toppings, ranch beans, Mexi-corn, pears pudding
Tuesday: Pork chops, baked potato, California veggies, applesauce, rocky road cookie
Wednesday: Swedish meatballs over noodles, 5 way mixed veggies, jell-o with fruit
Thursday: Christmas Diner: Turkey, stuffing, potatoes & gravy, green beans, roll, cranberry jell-o salad, pumpkin sheet cake
Friday: Breaded cod, rice pilaf, Caribbean veggies, pineapple
