WINNEMUCCA — Local youngsters are invited to the HGH ambulance station this Saturday to enjoy some one-on-one time with Santa.
“Cookies with Santa” will take place from 2 — 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, at the station located at 118 E. Haskell Street, adjacent to Humboldt General Hospital.
Area children will enjoy photos with the Jolly Old Elf along with cookies, milk and candy canes. There is no charge to attend and youth of all ages are invited to attend.
Plus, all youngsters who come can put their name into a drawing for a free iPod Touch. The drawing will take place on Saturday, Dec. 12; the winner does not need to be present.
Additionally, HGH EMS Rescue is asking participants who are able to bring a new, unwrapped toy that can be added to the “Stuff an Ambulance Toy Drive.”
Those toys will be donated to organizations in Humboldt County who serve children in need.
Participants may also bring a non-perishable food item, which will be donated to the Winnemucca Food Bank.
There is no obligation to bring a donation, and donations are not necessary to enter the drawing for the free iPod Touch.
