There are many activities for seniors at the Pleasant Senior Center, 1480 Lay St. The following is the schedule for Dec. 7 — Dec. 11 :
Monday: 10 a.m. Exercise, 1 p.m. Pinochle
Tuesday: 10 a.m. Crafts, 10:30 a.m. Walmart, 11:45 a.m. Lunch Bingo, Board Meeting 1:30 p.m.
Wednesday: 10 a.m. Exercise, 10:30 a.m. Khourys, 11 a.m. Music by the Danners, Lora Myles Attorney, Board Elections 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Thursday: 10 a.m. Crafts, 10:30 a.m. Ridleys, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Choice Wireless, Lora Myles Attorney
Friday: 10 a.m. Exercise, 1 p.m. Panguingue, Zion Preschool AM Class 11 a.m.
Lunches are served each weekday at the Pleasant Senior Center, 1480 Lay St. Lunches are open to the public. Suggested minimum donation is $3 for seniors 60 years and older; $6 charge for persons under 60 years of age. The following is the menu for Dec. 7 – Dec. 11 :
Monday: Spaghetti, garlic toast, salad bar, pineapple, pudding
Tuesday: Chicken alfredo over noodles, Italian veggies, mixed fruit, snickerdoodle cookie
Wednesday: Chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes & country gravy, green beans, peaches, 4 layer dessert
Thursday: Crab salad on a croissant, chips, fresh fruit, jell-o
Friday: Lasagna, garlic toast, salad bar, mandarin oranges
