‘Friends’ set to host annual Christmas fair

Event slated for Saturday, Dec. 5

The Community Christmas Fair sponsored by the Friends of the Pershing County Library will be held Saturday, Dec. 5 at the Community Center, 820 6th Street, Lovelock. The Fair will be open from 10 a.m — 3 p.m. A wide variety of items can be found at the Fair for gift giving and the home. For the weary shopper, chair massages are available.

Friends of the Library will have children’s books and the grab bag basket. Other booths will feature a wide variety of gifts for the home, including kitchen items, wood crafts, leather craft items and Christmas décor —including wreaths and stockings. Avon products for the lady will again be available, as will hand crafted jewelry and other jewelry. Pottery, woven rugs and much, much more would make great gifts for someone special – or yourself. Relay for Life will be offering photos with Santa. New this year are vintage jewelry and other antiques.

Cattlewomen’s delicious roast beef sandwiches and 4-H Leaders candies, chips and beverages will again be available for the hungry shopper.

The Friends encourage everyone to support local community groups and individuals this day by shopping locally while helping to provide funding for the children’s programs at the Pershing County Library.
