The Batlle Mountain High School boys soccer and girls golf team was named the Division III academic state champions by the NIAA. The girls golf team had a GPA of 3.60, while the soccer team stood at 3.56.
The Lady Longhorns’ soccer team was third in the standings at 3.50. Whittell (3.77) and North Tahoe (3.60) were first and second, respectively.
The Battle Mountain volleyball team was third as well, with a GPA of 3.58. North Tahoe was first at 3.80 and Yerington (3.61) was second.
The grade point averages for the fall season are caclauted from the final semester of the previous school year.
