Lynda Walton shot a low gross score of 67 to win the first flight of the Winnemucca Ladies Golf Club tin whistle tournament held Tuesday at Winnemucca Municipal Golf Course. Chompoo Landt and Linda Dufurrena tied for second at 62.
Della Domingo led the way in the second flight at 64 and Jean Mentaberry (54) was second. Lori Mitch (50) was third in the second flight.
Candace Puls had the fewest putts with 28 and she also had two chip-ins. Melanie Lawson also had a chip-in.
Landt was closest to the hole on No. 2 at 25 feet, 7 inches.
