The Winnemucca City Council meets Tuesday, Aug. 18, at 2 p.m. at City Hall. City officials will discuss and possibly take action on the following agenda items:
• The council will hear a request for waiver of golf course fees for the 4th annual ‘Muma Scramble’ Golf Tournament on Friday September 11 for the Paradise Valley New Building Fund.
• The council will hear an update on the Nevada League of Cities activities and their summary of the 2015 Legislative session from the NLC Executive Director Wes Henderson.
• The council will go over the Humboldt Development Authority’s 2015-16 fiscal year contract for services.
• The council will hear a proposal from city staff to utilize up to $1 million of the Nixon Hall fire loss fund for improvement projects to the recreation complex amphitheater area, the high school auditorium and the Boys & Girls Club building multipurpose room.
• The council will hear a request to approve agreement to provide easements for cattle drives across future waste-water treatment plant property for TQuarter Circle Ranch.
• The council will hear a request for diagonal parking area on the south side of the 100 block of W. Sixth Street adjacent to the 3R building from Peraldo.
