Tryouts for the Lowry High School volleyball team will begin on Monday, Aug. 17, at the high school.
Those girls interested in trying out are asked to arrive to the gym on the first day 30 minutes early for check in. All athletes must have all their paperwork signed and ready to hand in before they can participate in tryouts. This includes their physical. Teams practices will begin Wednesday, Aug. 19.
The Lady Buckaroo varsity team finished second in the Division I-A North last year at 14-2 and 27-4 overall. Lowry reached the semifinals of the regional tournament, but fell to Truckee in four sets.
Session one on Aug. 17, will have freshmen and sophomores on the gym floor from 7 a.m.-9a.m. Juniors and seniors will have their turn from 10 a.m.-noon. Session two on Aug. 17 will feature all classes from 5 p.m.-7:30 p.m.
The times will be the same for the second day of tryouts on Aug. 18.
