Tina Mary Salas was born on 12/31/1958, in Rockford, Illinois to Joe and Teresa Palmeno.
Early in her childhood her parents moved their family and made Lander, Wyoming their home. As a young adult Tina moved to Texas, and then eventually to Winnemucca, NV to be closer to her lifelong friend Debbie Ver Straten.
It was in Winnemucca she met and married the love of her life, Rudy Salas. From the marriage she gained 4 children she viewed and loved as her own. Tina loved nothing more in the world than her family, especially her eight grandchildren and her beloved dogs. Even though she was far away from Lander she always remained close with her immediate family and several nieces and nephews.
In the beginning of this year Tina moved with her husband Rudy to the Dominican Republic to be closer to her life long friend Debbie and her husband Scott. During this time Tina expressed how happy she was living out her dream with her friends and husband by her side. Tina unexpectedly passed on 4/19/2015.
Tina left joy and happiness in the lives of every person she touched. She will always be remembered for her crazy sense of humor and her immense capability to love unconditionally.
