Jennifer Dawn (Maynick) Schrum, 32, of Lake Stevens, Washington, passed away on April 18th, 2015.
Jen was born in Winnemucca, Nevada on June 4, 1982 to Mark and Cheri Maynick. Jen graduated from Albert M. Lowry High School in class of 2000 then went on to obtain a Bachelors of Science from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington with the class of 2004. At the University of Puget Sound, Jen was an avid golfer and a member of the school’s golf team. After graduation, Jen moved to Seattle where she began a career in public service where she met many people that loved and cared for her.
Jen loved riding her motorcycle around Washington. After living in the Seattle area for 9 years, Jen settled in Lake Stevens Washington with her husband. Jen was married to Steven Wellen Schrum in Bellevue, Washington on December 13th, 2014.
Jen is survived by her husband Steven Schrum, her parents Mark and Patty Maynick, Cheri Maynick and Ray Hyne, Steve’s parents Kathleen Schrum and Joseph Grangnelli, her grand parents T.G. and Elaine Sheppard, Jan and Gary Johnson, Bob and Caroline Maynick, and Marshall Hyne, her siblings Jeff Maynick, Matthew Maynick, Morgan Maynick, Jenny Kessler, Amy Sutherland, Lori Hyne, Cami Jackson, Danielle Hyne, and Jessica Hyne, her cousins Zack Sheppard, Clay Sheppard, Abby Sheppard, and Kai Maynick.
Services for Jen will be held in Winnemucca, Nevada on May 2nd at 11am at Sonoma Funeral Home, 47 W. First St. 775-623-2986
