Buck Evans, 78 years old of Winnemucca NV went to heaven on March 24, 2015 at his daughter’s home in Gardnerville NV. His wife, Cricket and daughter, Deby were by his side as he went to sleep in his own bed.
Buck was born in Brinkley Arkansas March 6, 1937 to Daniel and Clara Evans. The family moved to Nevada when he was 10 years old where he lived in Valmy and Battle Mountain. When he was 17 years old the family moved to California where he met his wife, Cricket. They were married June 10, 1957 and moved to Winnemucca and started their family.
Buck was a hard worker. He worked construction and mining until he started his own businesses, Buck’s Tree Service and B.E. Roofing and siding. His business until he retired was R & B Small Engine Repair which closed in the winter of 2012 when he was 75 years old.
Buck leaves behind his wife of almost 58 years, Cricket, daughter and son-in-law, Deby and David Parrish of Gardnerville, two sons, Roy and Alan Evans of Winnemucca, several grand children, great grand children, nieces and nephews.
Buck will be remembered for his honesty, hard work and family values and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
