Zacharia Donald Arthur Knox passed away on Feb. 19, 2015, and was laid to rest on Feb. 27, 2015, in Battle Mountain, Nev.
Zach was born on May 1, 1991, in Winnemucca, Nev., as the ninth child of ten children.
Zach was an adventurous, kind spirit who loved spending time in the outdoors with friends and family. He enjoyed hiking, road trips, being in the mountains, football (he was an avid Oakland Raiders fan) and recently discovered a new-found love for horses.
Zach could commonly be found playing with his many nieces and nephews. He was a very generous and giving person who was quick to lend a hand to anyone in need. Kind, loving, caring, charming and handsome are just a few words to describe him. Zach was loved by many and will be forever cherished in the hearts of his family and friends.
He is survived by his mother, Wannita Knox; his nine siblings, Andrea Bebout, Becky Curtis, Luke Knox, Jenny Knox, Micah Knox, Emily Park, Martha Knox, Jessie Kulsrud and Levi Knox. He is also survived by his 27 nieces and nephews, Caden, Abel, Ilo, Isabella, Luke, Baby Curtis, Malachi, Xavier, Eelianna, Tobias, Talia, Nehemmia, Zaporiah, Joey, Grace, Seth, Sam, Joss, Quinten, Tommy, Chloe, Kyla, Emma, Aden, Elijah, Rosemary and Caleb.
Zach was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Donald Pennels; his cousin, Chris Pennels; and his niece, Zaporiah Knox; and his best friend, Ryan Alcazar. As sorry as we were to see him go, we are certain there was a joyous reunion in heaven with his best friend and family members.
