More than 50 third- through eighth-graders took part in the annual Lowry High School girls basketball camp last week in the main gym at the high school. The camp was broken into two different age groups throughout the four days from Monday through Thursday, under the direction of varsity head coach Chelsea Cabatbat and a number of the current Lowry basketball players. The camp focused on the fundamentals and learning of the characteristics of Lowry basketball. The Lowry girls were the regional, state and academic state champions a year ago.
