Yesenia Nunez de Ortiz, 52, passed from this life at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center in Reno, Nev., on Dec. 10, 2013.
Yesenia was born Sept. 2, 1961, in Chihuahua, Mexico, to Jesus and Ernistine Nunez. She lived in Juarez, Mexice moving with her family to Battle Mountain then Winnemucca, Nev. Yesenia was one of twelve children with brothers Jesus, Hector, Benjamin, Javier, Luis, Homero, Adrian and Aldo Nunez and sisters Yolanda, Socorro and Marisela.
Yesenia was an active member of Saint Paul's Catholic Church and enjoyed fellowship with people. She especially enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren.
Yesenia is survived by her husband Mario Perez Ortiz, her daughter Edna Lizeth and son Mario Alexis Ortiz.
Services were held at Saint Paul's Catholic Church on Monday, Dec. 16, 2013, with Interment at the Winnemucca Cemetery, Winnemucca, Nev.
