The Winnemucca Youth Football League began its season this past Saturday at Highland Park with three junior games and two senior matchups. The league is taking this weekend off due the Labor Day weekend. The full schedule begins on Saturday, Sept. 7, with the flag teams taking to the field for the first time. Games are also played at Lowry High School.
