Women's cancer survey extended through Oct. 25

RENO - Nevada women over the age of 40 with no personal history of cancer are invited to take a brief survey to assess women's attitudes towards breast cancer screening and reasons why they may or may not have been screened.

The 10-minute online questionnaire, located at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/nvbreastcancer, is administered by the University of Nevada Center for Program Evaluation in association with the Nevada Cancer Coalition.

The results, which will not include any identifying information of survey participants, will assist the Nevada Cancer Coalition in promoting breast cancer screening to unscreened populations and increasing breast cancer screening statewide.

Participants can also enter to win a gift card once the survey is complete. The survey has been extended and will remain open through Oct. 25.

Nevada Cancer Coalition (NCC) is a statewide non-profit organization committed to reducing the burden of cancer. We advocate for best-practice policies for cancer prevention, screening, treatment, and access to care for all.
