WINNEMUCCA - The Winnemucca Little League, Winnemucca Girls Fastpitch and Winnemucca Youth Football League are joining together in asking for financial support to help purchase four electronic scoreboards to serve the youth involved in Winnemucca baseball, softball and football.
All four of the existing scoreboards have become antiquated and non-repairable and are looking to replace them with scoreboards that have LED technology and wireless radio controls.
The three groups need $20,000 by the start of the Little League and Fastpitch season. The $20,000 is for the cost of four complete systems with installation.
People are asked to donate by Friday, Feb. 15, and all donations are tax deductible.
You can make checks payable to Winnemucca Little League. Please write scoreboard campaign on the check memo line. If you would like to see your donation go towards a specific organization, note that in the memo line.
