WINNEMUCCA - Dominic Cassinelli, age 31, a resident of Pershing County, and an employee of the Winnemucca Police Department, was arrested Jan. 2, 2013, by the Nevada Department of Public Safety Investigation Division from Carson City following a lengthy investigation, according to a news release from WPD.
Cassinelli was placed on administrative leave when the investigation was initiated, and after arrest was booked into the Pershing County Jail on charges of sexual assault, a felony, battery with intent to commit sexual assault, a felony, and child endangerment, a felony.
Bail was set at $1 million.
