Winnemucca Police Department Officer Jeff Lynn was recently promoted to the rank of sergeant. Lynn was sworn into office by Mayor Di An Putnam at a ceremony at Winnemucca City Hall on Oct.17.

WINNEMUCCA - The Winnemucca Police Department is pleased to announce the promotion of Officer Jeff Lynn to the rank of sergeant. Lynn was sworn into office by Mayor Di An Putnam at a ceremony at Winnemucca City Hall on Oct.17.
Lynn is a 17-year veteran of law enforcement. After serving as a Humboldt County deputy, Lynn joined the ranks of the Winnemucca Police Department in January of 2011. Since that time Lynn has served as a patrol officer and a field training officer.
The Winnemucca Police Department congratulates Sgt. Jeff Lynn on this career accomplishment.
