Kaia F.I.T is personal training in a group atmosphere for women only. The instructors strive to make participants feel safe and comfortable at all levels of fitness. With busy lives and a limited amount of time for exercise, we have developed creative workouts that keep your body guessing each and every day.
With over 45 locations spread out from California to Wisconsin, Kaia F.I.T. is the place to be! With five locations in Reno and one in Elko, Kaia F.I.T. makes it easy to get your workout in - even if you're away from home.
Kaia workouts incorporate body weight exercises, metabolic conditioning, walking and running, weight and strength training, yoga and fun workouts. In Kaia you are working toward getting longer, leaner, stronger and more flexible every day.
KAIA is a challenging program, but welcomes all ages and levels of fitness. You will find yourself surrounded by a great mix of older and younger women, women who have not exercised in years and some that have recently finished marathons. We encourage you to work at your own pace, taking it easy at first and building up as you become a veteran.
Kaia Flow is offered every Friday and is one of the specialties of KAIA Fit. It's a yoga/pilates mix that focuses on building long, lean muscles. In Flow, we include a variety of exercises that are challenging, refreshing and help to keep our bodies healthy and well-rounded.
Kaia Run/Walk is offered each Saturday and is held at local parks or running trails. We've incorporated running into our program because it offers metabolic conditioning and is different from the weekly routine. Its also a great calorie-burner! So whether you're a walker or a runner, be sure to join us each Saturday to feel the benefits of being outdoors and getting your heart rate up in a fun way.
TRX is offered twice a week during Core and BRIK. TRX is suspension training that uses your body weight for resistance. The TRX bands are hung from the ceiling, allowing 360 degree rotation to target all muscle groups and challenge stability and balance.
We encourage you to start anytime! We start each year with a six-week BRIK session, followed by two back-to-back five-week CORE sessions. We repeat this cycle throughout the year.
A BRIK is a "boot-camp" style session designed to help you reach your health and fitness potential. We expect you will experience awesome workouts, see great results and meet incredible people along the way.
During BRIK, we do physical assessments, offer a nutritional plan with three different levels to meet everyone's needs, include shopping guides, form teams and most of all - have fun!
CORE sessions are five weeks long and focus on maintaining what you've already accomplished in a BRIK, and are designed to continue building strength and endurance.
The current class times are Mondays at 5 a.m., 9 a.m., 4:15 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.; Tuesdays TRX only at 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.; Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 5 a.m., 9 a.m., 4:15 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.; and Saturday 8 a.m. for a walk/jog/run. All indoor classes are held at Kaia F.I.T.
