County Commission Seat A candidates Joyce Sheen and Marlene Brissenden visited Winnemucca Grammar School Tuesday morning to speak with third grade students about important issues in our county and answer questions. Students had questions prepared for the Q & A session to ask if called upon. The students' concerns ranged from how to control the dust problem in our community and what can be done to stop burglaries. Brissenden encouraged all of the students to learn about their local government, because knowing what goes on makes you that much smarter. Sheen told students that she hopes they encourage their parents to vote and that, when old enough, they make voting important in their own lives.
