The Winnemucca eighth-grade girls traveling basketball team won the Spring Classic in Susanville, Calif., on April 13. Winnemucca defeated Baseline 46-7, Pelican Flight 46-21 and the Fallon Longhorns 47-17 in three games to claim the championship.
