Winnemucca city council meets Tuesday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m.

WINNEMUCCA - The Winnemucca City Council will meet on Tuesday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. at City Hall, 90 West Fourth St.

The council will discuss and possibly take action on items including:

•A request to change zoning district classification from rural ranchette to single-family residential for an 80-acre parcel situated east of the Offenhauser Drive extension.

•A request to change zoning district classification from multiple-family residential to industrial for 37 Pacific Ave.

•An agreement between Humboldt County, the city of Winnemucca and the United States Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management for management and maintenance of Water Canyon Recreation Area.

•A recission of the 2013-14 agreement to provide golf professional services.

•A submission of CDBG funding application.

•Determination that the police department 1995 armored car is no longer required for public use by the city/authorization to donate armored car to Humboldt County for the Humboldt County Sheriff's Office.

•Determination that the police department 2009 Ford Crown Victoria is no longer required for public use by the city/authorization to donate police vehicle to Humboldt County Hospital District.[[In-content Ad]]
