WINNEMUCCA - The Winnemucca City Council will meet on Tuesday, April 23, at 2 p.m. at City Hall, 90 West Fourth St.
The council will discuss and possibly take action on items including:
•A request to use Vesco City Park on July 4 for the annual Fourth of July activities and fireworks.
•A request for temporary closure of Bridge Street from Second Street to Fourth Street for Winnemucca Cruise Night on May 9, June 6, July 11, Aug. 1 and Sept. 12.
•An agreement for professional services for the fire station project design and related services.
•Authorization to submit FAA grant application for south end perimeter fencing.
•Discussion on the separation of the offices of city clerk and city treasurer.
•Appointments to the offices of city clerk and city treasurer.
