Winnemucca City Council meets August 5th

The Winnemucca City Council meets Tuesday, Aug. 5, at 2 p.m. at City Hall. City officials will discuss and possibly take action on the following agenda items.

• A request for waiver of golf course fees for the Louie Peraldo Memorial Golf Tournament on Sept. 13.

• A request for funding from the County Fiscal Officers Association

• A request to increase the minimum fence height from six feet to eight feet at 1230 E. Winnemucca Boulevard.

• A request by Google for a license agreement for a temporary balloon launching facility at the Airport Industrial Park.

• Authorization to donate an unused Winnemucca Police Department vehicle to the Humboldt County Hospital District for use as a paramedic vehicle.

• Bid review/contract award for the animal control building and facility.

• Bid review/contract award for the purchase of a pickup truck for the Public Works department.

• A request for approval of revised terms of Museum Lane development agreement.

• Authorization for a professional services agreement to provide electrical services design for the recreation complex project.

• Introduction of an ordinance to the municipal code prohibiting medical marijuana establishments within the City of Winnemucca.

• Statement and report of current general obligation debt and special elective taxes.[[In-content Ad]]
