Western Bariatric Institute to present informational weight-loss surgery seminar

The Western Bariatric Institute will host a free seminar next month for anyone interested in learning more about weight-loss surgery.

The seminar will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8, in the Sarah Winnemucca Conference Room at Humboldt General Hospital; there is no charge to attend.

Surgeons for the Western Bariatric Institute will discuss weight-loss surgery options, safety issues and payment possibilities. In most cases, insurance will cover the cost of weight-loss surgery.
